Alert Travel in Thailand

After the events of April in Bangkok and Pattaya, demonstrations and political violence can not be excluded in the capital and major provincial cities. The French embassy recommends french nationals to exercise the greatest caution in their movements, avoiding the usual places of events (in Bangkok, particularly the Dusit district seat of government, parliament and place Sanam Luang) and stay away from any politically motivated gathering in Bangkok or in the provinces.
